Job Qualification Requirements:
Minimum two (2) years' experience as Electrician. Successful applicant must be able to obtain military base access. Off-island hires must complete a health screening prior to working in Guam. Employees are required to take and pass a substance abuse test after hire.

Work to be performed on DPRI-funded projects and projects covered by Davis Bacon, Service Contracts Act, and/or Executive Order 14206 will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate but may be paid more where special rates apply and may require paid holidays and/or paid sick leave; Round-trip airfare for off-island hire; Food and lodging provided @ $80.00 per week or lodging only provided @ $62.50 per week; local transportation from employer’s designated lodging facility to/from jobsite; and employer/employee-paid medical insurance provided.
For work performed on Service Contract Act projects: additional benefits of Health & Welfare Benefits of $4.98 per hour up to 40 hours per week; 11 paid holidays per year; and paid time off up to 80 hours after 1 year of service and up to 160 hours after 3 years of service.

Plans layout, installs and prepares wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment. Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials. Provides access for future maintenance and avoids unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. Prepares sketches concealing wiring and installs before completion of future walls, ceilings and floorings. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using tools such as hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit bender. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Pulls wiring through conduit and splices wires by stripping installation from terminal loads with knife or pliers. Twist or solder wires together and apply tape or terminal caps. Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools. Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels fastening to place with screw or bolts using hand tools or power tools. Connects power of cable to equipment.
